From brief to export

Why this process matters for buyers.

Leather goods programmes succeed when the product, costing, sample, production standard and shipment preparation are aligned early. This flow shows how LIO GROUP moves a buyer enquiry from first direction to export-ready goods without losing control between stages.

01

Buyer brief

The brief defines the commercial target before development starts: product category, reference, market level, quantity, leather direction, hardware, branding and packing expectations. This prevents unclear sampling and keeps costing aligned with the buyer’s intended price point.

02

Sampling

Sampling is where the product is proven before bulk production. Leather, construction, lining, branding, fittings and finish are reviewed so the buyer can approve the look, hand-feel and making standard before committing to scale.

03

Production

Once the sample is approved, production follows the confirmed specification. In-house cutting, stitching, finishing, quality checks and packing control help maintain consistency across wallets, bags, belts and custom leather goods programmes.

04

Export readiness

Before shipment, goods are prepared for buyer presentation and international movement: final checking, packing, carton organisation and export documentation coordination. The aim is simple — finished leather goods that arrive clean, consistent and ready for the buyer’s channel.
